Mr. Paul Linn Bradley passed away Saturday evening, April 5, 2014, in Farmington, at the age of 83 years, 10 months & 27 days. Paul Linn was born on May 8, 1930, in Ste. Genevieve County, MO., & was the son of the late John Henry Bradley (1909 - 1979), and Alberta M. 'Pinkston' Bradley (1910 - 2001).
Paul was a faithful member of the Baptist Church, most-recently a member of The Delassus First Baptist Church. Paul had been an Ordained Deacon since the 1960's of the Baptist Church. Paul loved Gospel Music & over the past 60+ years sang at many churches in the area with his wife, Millie, and also led music at his home church & at many Revival Meetings. Paul had been an Auctioneer in the area since the late 1940's. He served the St. Francois County 4-H as the Annual Livestock Auctioneer for 40+ years. In earlier years, he was an avid horseback rider. Paul Linn, as he was known by his family & many close friends, was united in marriage on July 4, 1948, to Millie Marie McDowell.
Survivors Include: his wife of 65 years, Millie Bradley, of Farmington. A son, Vernon (& Janet) Bradley, of Eureka, MO; A daughter, Dianne (& Arthur) Friederich, of McLeansboro, IL. A brother, Charles Leroy Bradley, of Farmington, & his late wife, Jean Bradley. 4 Grandchildren: Sarah (& Brian) Blades, of Benton, IL; Laura (& Mark) Whisler, of Springfield, MO; Kelly Friederich, of Pinckneyville, IL., & fiance' William Carlile, of Okawville, IL. Eric (& Elise) Friederich, of Chandler, IN; 6 Great-grandchildren: Kaden, Alexa & Korie Blades. Carson, Jaylee & Sydney Whisler. A sister-in-law, JoAnn McDowell, of Farmington, and her late husband, J.T. McDowell. Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law, George Estel & Betty Ormsbee, of Athens, GA. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, nephews & countless friends.
