Paul "Buck" Royer, age 76 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Ozark Manor Care Center in Fredericktown. He was born on May 5, 1942 in SilverMines, Missouri, a son of Howard Sr. and Audrey Jewel (Means) Royer. His parents and brother-in-law George Starkey precedes him in death.
He is survived by: two sons – Scott Royer of Jackson, Missouri and Eugene Royer (Shannon Blount) of Annapolis, Missouri; one daughter – Amy (Ronnie) Browers of Bismarck, Missouri; six brothers – Howard Jr. (Norma) Royer, Roy (Joyce) Royer, Shirley (Gracie) Royer, Charles (Pearl) Royer, Lee Gale (Geneva) Royer, and Louis (Barb) Royer all of Fredericktown; one sister – Linda Starkey of Fredericktown; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In his earlier years Buck had joined the National Guard but most of his life he was in farming; he was a member of the SilverMines General Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Coke officiating. Interment will be at the Royer Cemetery near Silver Mines.
