Paul "Sonny" Bert Smith

Mr. Paul Bert "Sonny" Smith, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at his Doe residence at the age of 73 years, 10 months & 2 days. Paul was born on December 31, 1936, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to Paul M. Smith & Birdie 'Pinkston' Smith. "Sonny" was raised by his Aunt & Uncle, Jesse & Myrtle 'Smith' Turley. Also preceding-in-death were 2 Sisters: Alma Lee Pinkston & Dorothy Griffin.

"Sonny" was a retired Machinist and small engine repairman. Sonny was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: 3 children: Michael (& Fannie) Smith, of Farmington; Teresa Horton, of Salt Lake City, Utah and Roger Smith, of Farmington. His former wife, Mary Smith, of Farmington. 3 Sisters: Doris Thurman, of St. Peters, MO., LaVerne 'Mrs. Ronald' Cunningham, of Bonne Terre and Ruth Ann 'Mrs. Terry' Lyons, of St. Peters, MO. 2 Brothers: Jack (& Pat) Smith, of St. Peters, MO., & Frank (& Norma) Pigg, of Fredericktown. 4 Grandchildren: Derek Smith; Amy 'Mrs. Adam' Hamblin; Katie 'Mrs. Chad' Ruble and Colton Smith. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Ryker Hamblin; Boston Hamblin & Landon Ruble. Also, numerous Nieces; Nephews; Cousins & "Best Friend" Smokey.

Visitation : Friday, 6-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday - 1 pm - Nov. 6, 2010

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Charles Smith & Rev. Timon Barbie officiating.

Interment at : Three Rivers Cemetery, Ste. Genevieve Co.

Memorials to : The American Heart Association.
