Mrs. Pauline Mae 'Skaggs' Monie passed away Sunday morning, November 4, 2001, at her Farmington residence at the age of 76 years & 1 month. She was born October 4, 1925, in Marquand, Missouri, to William L. & Clara E. 'Rauls' Skaggs. Pauline was a faithful wife, loving mother, caring grandmother & good friend & neighbor. She was a faithful & active member of Farmington First Baptist Church. There she taught biblical & godly principles to preschool children for 38 years as well as being a guide to other teachers. Her life was devoted to her family & her many friends of every age. She was a loving wife of 55 years, sharing all of life with her husband. Nothing pleased her more than spending time with her children & grandchildren whether at home or traveling to the many places they have lived. Many precious times were spent laughing & crying with her friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : Her husband, Lewis Monie, of Farmington; 1 DAUGHTER: Brenda Sue 'Mrs. Jim' Caruthers, Vassar, Michigan & 1 SON: Charles Bruce (& Jennifer) Monie, Eagle River, Alaska. TWIN SISTER : Pearline 'Mrs. Norman' Barrett, Moberly, MO; BROTHER: William "Cecil" Skaggs, Moberly, MO; GRANDCHILDREN: Craig Caruthers, Taylors, South Carolina; Jason (& Kathy) Caruthers, Greer, South Carolina. Visitation Tuesday, 5-9 pm; resuming Wednesday, 7-8:30 am at the funeral home & visitation moving to Farmington First Baptist Church, starting there @ 9 a.m. Funeral Wednesday, 10 am, Nov. 7, 2001, at 1st Baptist Church with Rev. Don Stanley officiating. Interment, Moore's Chapel Cemetery, Marquand, MO; Memorials to: HospiceCare, Inc., &/or American Cancer Society
