Peggy Adams

Peggy Adams, 84, of Desloge, passed away March 24, 2023, at home surrounded by the ones that loved her.  She was born August 31, 1938, in Bonne Terre, to the late Ray and Myrtle (Pulliam) Wells.  Peggy was of Baptist faith, and she was a true sports fan.  She enjoyed watching any kind of sports, but her favorite was Duke Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.  She also loved watching the Game Show Network and cooking, but most of all, taking care of her family, especially her grandkids.  Peggy was a caregiver to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 61 years, Clive “Nubby” Adams; siblings, Harry, Elmer, Vernon, Charlotte, Vinis, Shirley, Jerry and Tony Wells.

Peggy is survived by children, Clive Adams and wife Patti, Doris Harmon, Carla Hazel and husband Steven, Melissa Watkins and husband Terry; six grandchildren, Alex Hazel, Shannon (Dakota Phillips) Hazel, Tasha (Ronnie Horn) Watkins, Mackynze Adams, Michaela (James) Starks and Macey Adams; two great-grandchildren, Zoey Horn and Adeline Phillips; brother in-law, Tommy Adams; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.  Justin Nettles will be officiating.  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
