Peggy Joyce Bess

            Peggy Bess, 83, of Park Hills, passed away April 21, 2016 at Country Meadows in Park Hills. She was born March 2, 1933 in Fredericktown, to the late Elmo Earl and Ruby Louise (Sanders) Ritter. Peggy and her husband Bob delivered Meals on Wheels and enjoyed going on bus tours. Peggy’s favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Bob G. Bess.

             Peggy is survived by two daughters, Kim (Mrs. Ken) Coulter of Columbia, IL and Jan Hubbs of Iola, KS; three grandchildren, Christopher Coulter, Brook Stricklin, and Bailey Hubbs; and one great-grandchild, Cole Lindsey.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
