Peggy Lee Kohut

Peggy Kohut, 64, of Farmington, passed away September 17, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family.  She was born June 4, 1958, in Flat River to the late Harold and Lorene (Barron) Lawson.  Peggy was an avid Pyrex collector and loved karaoke, antiquing, and playing cards. The loves of her life were her husband of 47 years, her children, grandchildren and devoted dog Suzie.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph Lawson, Bobby Lawson, and Mike Lawson; sisters Gloria Barron, Linda Prather, and Barbara Wilcut.

          Peggy is survived by her husband, Cary; daughter, Melissa (Darrell) Cureton; son, Brian (Jill) Kohut; grandchildren, Garrett Portell, Emily Portell, Makenzie Cureton, Penelope Cureton, Noah Kohut, Ella Kohut, Hazel Kohut; great-grandson, Liam Portell. Siblings Stanley (Leila) Lawson, Terry (Regina) Lawson, Violet Weir, and Jimmy Lawson. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Farmington on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington with Reverend Stephen Constien officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Farmington.
