Penni Layne Wright

Penni Layne Wright, age 12, of University City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri due to an automobile accident. She was born on December 13, 2011, in Farmington, Missouri to Robert James and Cherish Lynn (Wagner) Wright.

She is survived by her father – Robert Wright of University City; sisters – Ava Chapman of Fredericktown and Rachel Vipperman of Florida; brothers – Collin Chapman of Fredericktown, Missouri and Justin Chapman of St. Clair, Missouri; grandfather – Richard Wagner; niece – Emily Vipperman and several aunts, uncles and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Cherish Wright; her grandmother, Deborah Wagner; nephew, Owen Chapman and uncle, Caleb Wagner.

Penni loved listening to music, singing and enjoyed painting; she will sadly missed all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., also on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home.
