Philipp Chase Skinner, 78, of Ironton passed away October 23, 2025. He was born February 15, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to the late Armour and Theresa (Pratola) Skinner. Phil proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was a proud veteran who served his country with honor and dedication, earning his nickname “Mule Skinner” during his time in the military. His greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren, with whom he loved creating lasting memories. He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Glenda (Goode) Skinner.
Phil is survived by his children, Larry (Angie) Kohler of Fredericktown, Danielle Cross of Ironton, Adam (Andrea) Kohler and Robert Kohler all of Park Hills ; eight grandchildren, Alexander, Narae, Cameron, Emma, Conner, Amy, Laney and Layton; one great-granddaughter, Eva Ray; one sister, Marie Skinner of St. Louis.
