Phyllis Ann Deshaney

Phyllis Ann Deshaney, age 70 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on March 30, 2016. She was born on December 30, 1945 in Ironton, Missouri, the eldest child of Daniel and Cecilia Deshaney. She is survived by her children: Paul Merritt III of Viburnum, Missouri, Brian Merritt of Doe, Run, Missouri and Jackie (Buddy) Mullins of Texarkana, Arkansas, mother Cecilia Deshaney and siblings Daniel (Cheryl) Deshaney Jr., Deborah (Gary) Whited, Sandra (Gary) Carey, Barbara (Steve) Coleman and Edward Deshaney all of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren and three great-grand children. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Deshaney Sr., and daughter Elizabeth Lorraine Merritt. Phyllis was a generous and loving mother. She was an accomplished graphic artist for online vendors as well as creating her own prize winning art work. She loved crafting Native American jewelry, dreamcatchers, and mandalas and loved studying about Native American history as well as Ancient Egyptian. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Bess officiaiting. A dinner will follow at Liberty Hall at Wilson Funeral Home.
