Priscilla M. (Brewen) Wade

Priscilla M. Wade, 92 of Park Hills, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at NHC Health Care in Desloge.She was born September 10, 1919 in Elvins.Mrs.Wade taught school for many years; starting her teaching career in a one room country school and ending her 20 years in teaching with the Farmington School District.She was a long time member of the Flat River Christian Church. She was preceded in death by parents,Fred C.and Ethel (Baker) Brewen; sisters, Mary Julia Brewen, Rosallie Preszler, and Velma Morrison; and brother, J.B. Brewen. Priscilla is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, James E. Wade; dear sister, Gladys (Julius) Preszler; sisters in-law, Aline (J.B.) Brewen, Beth (Rolla) Wade; children, Kathleen M. (David) Reeves, James F. (Shihfang) Wade, William E. Wade and Patty L. Wade; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great great grandson and many generations of nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, May 25, 2012, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday starting at 10:00 AM.The service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM, May 26, 2012, with Rev. Walt Thomson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Flat River Christian Church, 15 N. Coffman St.Park Hills, MO 63601.Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
