Mr. Ralph Raymond Heine, Sr., passed away Saturday afternoon, March 17, 2007, at his Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 88 years, 10 months & 15 days. Ralph was born on May 2, 1918, in Praire du Rocher, IL., & was the son of Albert & Matilda 'Misplay' Heine. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 Sister: Carrie Syberg & 4 Brothers: Alfred; John; Lloyd & Frank Heine.
Ralph was a US ARMY Veteran of World War II & a Prisoner-of-War; he was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Bonne Terre & a 4th Degree of the Knights-of-Columbus. Ralph was a member of Leadington VFW Post #5741.
Survivors Include: his wife, Elizabeth W. 'Wray' Heine, of Farmington. 2 Daughters: Kathleen Heine, of Farmington & Nancy Vandemark, of O'Fallon, MO. 2 Sons: Ralph R. (& Catherine) Heine, Jr., of Asheville, NC; Bob (& Jane) Heine, of St. Louis. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren: Mike (& Carrie) Heine; Justin (& Diana) Vandemark; Nicholas Heine; Ezra Vandemark & Kendra Vandemark. Also, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Samantha Heine; Hannah Vandemark & Andrew Heine.
Visitation: Tuesday, 5-9 p.m., @ TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, 10 am, March 21, 2007
at: St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bonne Terre, with Fr. John Schneider officiating.
Interment with military honors at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Bonne Terre.
