Raymond Valle Hagerty

            Valle Hagerty, 76, of Desloge, passed away at his residence surrounded by family, April 21, 2017. He was born December 22, 1940, in Bismarck, to the late John and Gladys Christine (Dyer) Hagerty. Valle is a member of the New Heights Church of Farmington and worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 25 years. He was loved by all and never met a stranger. Valle will be remembered as a man who dearly loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren. They will miss him, but know he is always here.  

            He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Alexander Raymond Hagerty; and sister-in-law, Toni Hagerty. 

            Valle is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Judy (Gibbons) Hagerty; four sons, Jimmy (Diane) Hagerty of Park Hills, John Hagerty of Farmington, Jerry (Nancy) Hagerty of Troy, IL, and Jeff Hagerty of Desloge; one daughter, Carla Hagerty of Park Hills; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Charlene) Hagerty and Mike (Lara) Hagerty; and fury little buddy, Jack.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, April 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rocky Good officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the New Heights Church in Farmington.
