Raymond "Ray" Wilson

Raymond "Ray" Wilson, age 94 of Jupiter, Florida (formerly of Fredericktown, Missouri) passed away on Wednessday, May 22, 2019 at his daughter's home in Jupiter. He was born on March 14, 1925 in Senath, Missouri, a son of Birley and Ethel (Emery) Wilson. On June 21, 1957 in Fredericktown he was united in marriage to Lucille Harmon who preceded him in death on July 4, 2001. Besides his wife and parents he is preceded by three brothers - Ira, Floyd and Louis Wilson. He is survived by his daughter - Susan Solovic of Jupiter, Florida; son-in-law - George Solovic; grandson - David Solovic and nieces, nephews and friends. Ray was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Philippines and New Guinea and was awarded two Bronze Stars. He was owner and operator of Wilson Funeral Home for nearly forty years. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m., Interment with military honors will be at the Cape Memorial Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
