Remona Lynn Melton

Remona Lynn Melton, age 55 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on June 18, 1969, in Rockford, Illinois, to John and Wilda (Mitchell) Crawford.

On March 18, 2000, she was united in marriage to George Christopher Melton, he survives at the home.

Other survivors include their two daughters – Kendall and Taylor Melton; her mother – Wilda Crawford; one grandson – Jackson; one sister – Lillian Crawford; one brother – Johnny Crawford and a host of other relatives and friends.

Remona was a homemaker; she enjoyed playing computer games, watching TV and playing with her faithful pet, her dog "Jake", but most of all she loved going to church where she attended the Assembly of God Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., on Sunday, February 25, 2025 at the Assembly of God Church in Fredericktown.  Services will be held at 2:30 also on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jason Henson officiating.  Interment may be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Wilson Funeral Home c/o Remona Melton Memorial Fund.
