Rev. James Sutherland McClymont passed away Sunday evening, August 26, 2012, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of 85 years, 6 months & 8 days. James was born on February 18, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri, and was the son of Matthew McClymont and Christine 'Sutherland' McClymont. Also preceding-in-death was a twin-brother, Matthew McClymont.

James graduated in 1949 from Westminister College in Fulton, Missouri. He graduated in 1952 from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. James was a member of Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery and Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He was united in marriage to Isabel Margarita Acosta on September 2, 1951. He retired in 1993 after serving Presbyterian churches in Illinois; Missouri & Kansas. After retirement, he served as Interim Pastor for various churches, including locally at Park Hills, Ironton & Fredericktown.

Survivors Include: his WIFE - Isabel McClymont, of Farmington. One DAUGHTER: Marsha (& Raymond) Hanley, of St. Louis; One SON: Mark Alexander McClymont, of Troy, IL One Sister-In-Law: Peggy McClymont, of Farmington. 4 Grandchildren: Christopher James Hanley, of St. Louis; Sara Kay (& Anthony) Brinker, of Columbia, IL; Christine Elizabeth Hanley, of Washington, DC; Stacy Ann McClymont, of Caseyville, IL. 1 Great-Grandson: Elijah Anthony Brinker. Also surviving are Nieces & Nephews.

Memorial Service : Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Farmington Presbyterian Manor, conducted by Chaplain Derrick Meek.

Graveside Service : Wed, 1 pm @ Lake Charles Park Cemetery - 7775 St. Charles Rock Road - St. Louis.
