Mr. Rex Medford Nations passed away early Sunday evening, September 17, 2006, at the Missouri Veterans Home, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 82 years, 4 months & 6 days. Rex was born on May 11, 1924, in Farmington & was the son of Homer & Gertrude Nations.

Rex was preceded-in-death by: his 1st wife, Elizabeth Nations; his 2nd wife, Pat (Patsy) Nations; 2 Brothers: Hildon "Ham" Nations (killed in-action in WWII) & Kermit Nations; 2 Sisters: Lillian Koupal & Gertrude McDowell. 1 Daughter-In-Law: Hallie Nations.

Rex was a member of the Mount Auburn Christian Church and served in the US ARMY during World War II.

Survivors Include: 2 Sons: David Nations, of Denver, CO; Leslie (& Ruth) Nations, of Belleville, IL. 3 Granddaughters & 3 Great-Grandchildren.

There will be NO VISITATION.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., September 22, 2006, at Cape Memorial Park, officiated by Dave Jordan, under direction of Ford & Son Funeral Home - 1001 No. Mt. Auburn Rd., Cape Girardeau, MO. 63701 (573) 334.1313 in Cape Girardeau, MO.
