Richard Gerard Beckwith

Richard Gerard Beckwith of Shook, Missouri passed away May 8, 2015 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 76 years. He was born on February 14, 1939 in Saint Louis, Missouri the son of the late Junis and Thelma Marie (Dowd) Beckwith. On March 26, 1965 he was united in marriage to Darlene Miller who preceded him in death on October 28, 2003. He is survived by children, Cynthia Verble of Saint Louis, Missouri, Richard Beckwith of Tampa, Florida, and Lisa Beckwith. In addition to his children, Richard is survived by his brother Andrew and wife Betty Buxbaum of Fenton, Missouri, three sisters; Donna and husband Jerry Haines of Crestwood, Missouri, Delores Beckwith of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Joanne Casteel of New Mexico, 4 grandsons as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Beckwith. Richard proudly served his county in the United States Army. He was a member of Machinist Union Local 9.
