Richard Delano Blankenship

Richard Delano Blankenship of Ironton, Missouri passed away February 11, 2017 in Park Hills, Missouri at the age of 80 years. He was born November 6, 1936 in Ironton, Missouri to the late James and Dora (Ford) Blankenship. On July 6, 1998 he was united in marriage to Georgia Lee Dennison Huff who survives. Also surviving is his son, John Blankenship of Farmington, Missouri, his brother, J.M. Kirk and wife Toni Blankenship, and four sisters; Betty and husband William Nicholas, Gertrude and husband, Larry Henson, Martha and husband Woody Wright, and Linnie Layton. Richard was preceded in death by his brothers; Rodger, James Elisha, Samuel, Enoch, John Paul, George, Thomas and Larry, and his sisters; Ruby, Anna, Sarah, Claradean, Barbara, and Mary. Richard served his country in the United States Marines.
