Richard "Rick" Morris

Richard Clinton Morris., beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the age of 67. Rick was born on November 19, 1958, in Grand Haven, Michigan to the late Virgil and Grace (Sherfy) Morris. He did many things including being a meat cutter at Town and Country/Harps in Fredericktown.

Rick was known for his hardworking spirit, he was cherished for his love of the outdoors and his love for his friends and especially his family. Whether it was spending time in nature or sharing stories around a campfire, hunting, fishing or playing horseshoes. Rick embraced life with a sense of adventure and joy. 

He is survived by his children, April and husband Adam Thompson, Chad and husband James Morris; grandchildren, Hayden and wife Shelby Thompson, Wade Thompson; and his siblings, Linda and husband Dale White, Ronald Morris, Wayne and wife Peggy Morris, Virgina and husband Dennis Bryne; special niece, Cathy Royer; mother of Rick’s children, Cathy Morris; along with many other nieces, nephews, friends and family also survive. 

Rick will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
