Richard William Schlueter

Richard William Schlueter, age 70 passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at his home near Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on December 1, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward Eugene and Alice Virginia (Fuerst) Schlueter.

He is survived by his daughter – Melissa Schlueter of St. Louis; grandchildren – Melia Schlueter and Adelie Schlueter; brothers – Edward Schlueter of St. Louis and John Schlueter of Peoria, Arizona; sister – Sue Majchrzak of St. Louis; mother of his children, ex-wife – Debbie Schlueter of House Springs, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his son – Patrick Schlueter; sister - Michele Swinney his twin brother - Ronald Schlueter.

Richard was a retired member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union Number 36.  He was a member of the Madison County Historical Society and enjoyed working on his farm, but more than anything he loved spending time with his daughter and twin grandbabies.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 3, 2024 also at Wilson Funeral Home with Father Bill Thess officiating.

Interment will be at New Calvary Cemetery in  Farmington, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers memorials contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
