Richard Stephen Henry Truska, age 80 of Farmington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on October 13, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of Marion and Helen (Fruehwirth) Truska. His parents and one sister, Joan precedes him in death.
On April 3, 1959 in Fredericktown he was united in marriage to Diane Clark (Piel) who survives at the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter – Wendy (John) Davis of Baconton, Georgia; four sons – Richard D. Truska and Garrett Truska both of Memphis, Tennessee, Paul (Faith) Truska of Fredericktown, Missouri and Tim (LaBriska) Truska of Mississippi; four brothers – Ken (Dorothy) Truska of Fredericktown, Donny (Patty) Truska and Matt (Linda) Truska both of Farmington and Steve (Rhonda) Truska of St. Louis; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Richard was a United States Navy veteran, he had worked for Navistar Metal Company in Indianapolis, Indiana as a pattern maker.; he enjoed woodworking, riding motorcycles, running and working on his farm; he was a member of the Farmington American Legion and a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown.
