Rita Kay Mcclanahan

Mrs. Rita Kay McClanahan passed away Saturday afternoon, January 7, 2012, at Community Manor, Farmington, at the age of 66 years, 5 months & 21 days. Rita was born on July 16, 1945, and was the daughter of Floyd Earl Rawson and Mildred 'Byington' Rawson. Also preceding-in-death were: 3 sisters - Virginia Marlow; Helen Lang & Faye Naused. 3 brothers - Daniel Rawson; Cletus Rawson & Bill Rawson.

Rita attended the Farmington Church of God.

Survivors Include : her husband, David McClanahan, of Farmington. 1 daughter, Bonnie Mizell, of Farmington. 1 son, David (& Dawn) McClanahan, of Farmington. 1 sister, Inez Wideman, of Leadwood. 1 brother, Tommy Rawson, of Kannapolis, North Carolina. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation : Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Thursday at 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., January 12, 2012

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. David Parmley officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
