Rita M. Hoeft

Rita M. Hoeft, 92, of Bonne Terre passed away February 28, 2011 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1918 in Caborn, IN. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre and a past member of the Bonne Terre Eagles. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie (Debes) Miller; husband, Charles S. Hoeft; grandchild, Paul Alexander. Rita is survived by seven children, Charles Lee Hoeft, Mary Ann Lewis, David Hoeft and wife Peggy, Maggie Alexander-Pratt, Susan (Mrs. Michael) Sweeney, Gary Hoeft and wife Linda, Bobby Hoeft and wife Judy; thirteen grandchildren, Danny Hoeft, Cheri Tripp, Jenny Lewis, Sally Rothweiler, Susie Klaas, Dana Pratt, Michelle Smith, Scott Sweeney, Georgia Hoeft, Austin Hoeft, Adam Cody, Alan Hoeft, Cory Hoeft; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Beatsie Hammerstein; thirty-two nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 10 AM until 11 AM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Memorial Service will be Thursday at 11 AM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. John Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to masses or Farmington Pet Adoption Center.
