Rita Marie Reed

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Rita Reed. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Rita's life was a testament to the power of family. She cherished her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, showering each member of her extensive family with unwavering love and support. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit touched countless lives. On September 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Harry Reed who preceded her in death in 2003. Rita leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, deeply mourned by their five children: Rose Clark of Tampa, Florida, Barbara Norton of Lutz, Florida, Harry Reed Jr. of Connelly Springs, North Carolina, Sandra Kmack of Brandon, Florida, and Robert Reed of Temple Terrace, Florida.
