Robert "Bob" C. Rohde

Mr. Robert C. "Hacksaw" Rohde passed away Saturday morning, July 26, 2014, at Mercy Hospital, in St. Louis, MO., at the age of 73 years, 6 months & 19 days. Bob was born on January 7, 1941, in Effingham, Illinois & was the son of Jake C. Rohde and Maude 'Hosman' Rohde. Also preceding-in-death was his wife, Linda Kay 'Jones' Rohde, on April 22, 2014.

Bob graduated from Effingham High School in Effingham, Illinois, & joined the US Army. In the ARMY Bob served in Military Intelligence in Viet Nam. Bob was a retired Claims Adjustor for The Shield of Shelter Insurance Company.

Survivors Include : a daugher, Victoria (& Jeff) Lowenstein, of Port Richey, FL. 2 sons: Craig Rohde, of Ironton and Ron Mullinax, of Farmington. 2 sisters: Peg (& Jim) Robinson, of Tolono, IL; Sue (& Dave) Hyatt, of Phoenixville, PA. 1 brother, Ted (& Debbie) Rohde, of St. Joseph, IL; Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Cody Mullinax (& Katie) Winder, of Ft. Stewart, GA & Clayton Mullinax, of Farmington.

Visitation :Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., July 31, 2014

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Charles Shrum officiating.

LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Pendleton Cemetery, Doe Run for burial, with Military Honors.
