Robert "Bob" Crocker

Bob Crocker, 82, of Bismarck, went to his heavenly home on October 23, 2023. He was born January 2, 1941, in Bismarck, to the late Ammon “Hoss” and Edith (Barton) Crocker. Bob served his country in the United States Marine Corp and later became a driller for St. Joe Lead company, before retiring after 39 years. He attended the Gospel Light Free Will Baptist Church in Bonne Terre and enjoyed working on his farm and John Deere tractor, riding his 4-wheeler and picking on his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara (Joice) Crocker; siblings, Freda Geraldine Crocker-Medley, Bill Crocker and Donald Lee Crocker; nephew, Jeff Crocker and niece, Krista Crocker.

Bob is survived by his second wife, whom he dearly loved, Alta (Yount) Crocker; two brothers, John Crocker and wife Sue, Jim Crocker and wife Kathy; niece Patti Creason and husband Clifford, Susie Consiglio and husband Mike; nephew, Herb Medley, Jr.; great-niece and nephews, Crystal Reese and husband Byran, Jeffrey Crocker, Colt Jones and wife Molly and Claude Shy; step-children, Randy Crocker and wife Cheryl, Teresa Crocker and Lisa Crocker; a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, other family members, friends and church family also survives.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Bismarck Masonic Cemetery.
