Robert "Bob" Henry Gaines

Mr. Robert Henry "Bob" Gaines, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at his Farmington residence at the age of 92 years, 4 months & 22 days. Bob was born April 19, 1920, in Fredericktown, MO., & was the son of Leonard Gaines (dec'd 1968) & Emma Louise 'Kinneman' Gaines (dec'd 1994). Also preceding-in-death was a brother, Leonard William "Bill" Gaines (1991).

Bob attended Farmington First Baptist Church with Lucille. He was a member of: * The Woodcarver's Club (that he & Leon Akins started); * Life Member, Masonic Lodge #504 of Fairview Heights, Illinois; and Scottish Rite Bodies and a member of St. Francois County Historical Society. Bob & Lucille Wilkerson were united in marriage on December 4, 1953.

Survivors Include: his wife of 59 years, Lucille 'Wilkerson' Gaines, of Farmington; A daughter, Marilyn (Mrs. George) Santner, of Smithton, IL. 3 Grandchildren: Keith Santner, of Winter Haven, FL; Cheryl (& Scott) Tolan, of Columbia, IL; Stephen (& Karen) Santner, of Belleville, IL. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Megan & Lauren Tolan; Jacob & Sophia Santner.

Visitation : Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Saturday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., September 15, 2012, with Rev. Pete Soens officiating.
