Robert Joseph Halcomb

Robert Joseph Halcomb Sr., age 81 passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his home in Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on July 1, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Robert Henley and Rosemary (DeMuth) Halcomb. His parents precede him in death. He is survived by two sons: Robert Halcomb Jr. and Darrell Halcomb both of Fredericktown; one daughter – Lynn Knox and husband Kim of Valle Mines, Missouri; one sister – Janet Hilmes and husband Donald of Loveland, Colorado; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Robert had worked as a mechanic for a trucking Company in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking; he also enjoyed going to flea markets looking for bargins and was always trading. He had attended St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., also on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks Veteran's Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date. Condolences may be posted on this website.
