Robert Hawk Hawkins

Robert Glen "Hawk" Hawkins 80, of Bonne Terre passed away January 5, 2012. He was born April 1, 1931 in Bonne Terre. He was a member of the Bonne Terre Church of God.He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Annie Lee (King) Hawkins; four sisters, Beulah, Gladys, Martha and Marjorie; brother, William Hawkins; two half-sisters, Grace and Myrtle; two half-brothers, Hershel and Herb.Robert is survived by his wife, Carol (Finch) Hawkins; son, Robert Dale Hawkins and wife Shannon; daughter, Sharon (Hawkins) Pope; two step-children, Ruth Ann (Mrs. Norman) Culton and Pat Bess; ten grandchildren, Bobby, Jessica, Jake, Josh, Jordan, Cris, Chelsea, Devin, Sean and Ethan; special niece, Shirley Tanner. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Bonne Terre Church of God with services at 11:00 AM with Rev. Steve Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bonne Terre Church of God Building Fund.
