Robert Wade Lindsey Sr.

Robert Lindsey, 79, of Fredericktown, MO, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 14, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Wilburn Lindsey and Zola Marie (Whited) Matthews.

Robert worked for the Chrysler Corporation for over 31 years and was a proud member of the UAW Local 136. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but he couldn't get too far away from the garage. He loved to restore cars, especially the Ford Mustang. Although his greatest joy was his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Lindsey; sister, Mary Humiston, and brother Mike Lindsey.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Regina (Fox) Lindsey; daughter, Lynn and husband Dan Royer; sons, Robert Lindsey Jr., Jason and wife Katie Lindsey; grandchildren, Austin (Taylor) Royer, Adrienne (Logan) Brown, Leah (Chris) Harwood, Cameron Lindsey, Hayden Lindsey, Ariana Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Charlotte, Ronan, Hudson, Jedediah, Rhiatt, and Banks; brothers and sisters, Danny Lindsey, David (Deana) Matthews, Russell (Rita) Matthews, Wilma Matthews, and Beverly Cowan. Many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends also survive.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son - Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown.
