Robert Ray Poinsett

Robert Ray Poinsett of Arcadia, Missouri passed away on March 23, 2016 in his home at the age of 67 years. He was born on May 28, 1948 in Yakima, Washington, the son of the late Asa and Mazel (Pennington) Poinsett. On January 5, 1973 he was united in marriage to Mary Lee Dement. To this union two children were born: William Sean Poinsett of Bismarck, Missouri and Elizabeth Henson and husband Rone of Pilot Knob, Missouri. Robert is survived by two grandchildren Wyatt and Hannah Henson, a brother; Charles Poinsett and wife, Patti of Farmington, three sisters; Joann Francis and husband, Ben of Pilot Knob, and Agnes Lashley and husband, Buzz of Pilot Knob, and Bonnie Hayes and husband, J.R. of Lake Hanna as well as a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Robert served his country with pride in the United States Navy. He was a graduate of Ironton High School.
