Robert "Jerry" Rapp

Robert Jerald Rapp, known to most everyone as "Jerry" passed away on July 3, 2023 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 66 years. He was born February 28, 1957 in Bonne Terre, Missouri the son of the late Robert Donald and Martha Mary (Roberts) Rapp. Jerry was united in marriage to Karen Lynn Sitze Lewis on April 24, 2010. She survives and resides in Ironton, Missouri. Jerry is survived by his two children: Gregory Rapp (Rachel) and Katie Wahlig (Joshua) both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and his sister: Janice Halley (Alan) of Farmington, Missouri. Jerry had one grandson, Graham Wahlig of Cape Girardeau. Jerry was a 1975 graduate of Farmington High School. Following graduation, he attended Mineral Area College and then the University of Missouri – Rolla where he earned his B.S. in Engineering. Jerry worked for the Army Corp of Engineers in St. Louis.
