Robert Eugene Richards

Robert Eugene Richards, known to most as "Bob", passed away on January 1, 2019 in Ellington, Missouri at the age of 90 years. He was born May 23, 1928 in Iron County, Missouri the son of the late Floyd and Gertrude (Doggett) Richards. Bob is survived by two brothers; Norman Richards and wife, Shirley of Caledonia, Missouri, and Samuel Richards and wife, Debbie of Fenton, Missouri, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by two sisters; Doris June Miller and Mary Richards. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy for twenty-four years. He served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. Following active duty, he worked several more years cooking in the Officer's club. After retiring he moved to Banner, Missouri where he has enjoyed farming. Bob enjoyed cooking and listening to music.
