Robert "Rob" D. Moore

Robert “Rob” D. Moore, 69, of Bonne Terre passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born Wednesday, March 31, 1954 in Gideon, Missouri to the late Gilbert “Jack” and Barbara (Cluck) Moore. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Rob retired as a truck driver for Fred Weber. He was a member of the Veterans organization in De Soto, Amvets Post #48 as an Amvets rider as well as the commander of the Farmington Amvets Post #113. After his retirement, Rob became a collector of model ships, restoring hot rods and deer hunting. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and camping. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded by his parents. Rob is survived by his Fiancé, Jo Ann McKenzie; sister, Patricia “Pat” (husband Mike) Knickmeyer; nephews, David (wife Megan) Knickmeyer, Richard (wife Helen) Knickmeyer; five great nieces and nephews also survive; best friends, Denny, Scott and Kevin, along with his precious fur babies, Chloe and Sissy. Rob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
