Robert Conrad Ruppert

Robert Conrad Ruppert passed away August 18, 2016 at The Baptist Home in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 85 years. He was born on January 10, 1931 in University City, Missouri; son to the late Conrad Louis and Matilda (Kempfer) Ruppert. On November 30, 1963, Robert was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pat (Washburn) Ruppert who preceded him in death in February 22, 2002. Robert is survived by family friends Jill Elder and husband Ron of Fenton, Missouri, Carey Filer and wife Jill of Festus, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Conrad and Matilda Ruppert, his wife Pat, and sisters Katherine Felker and June Haefner. Robert served his country in the United States Army proudly during the Korean War. He received the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, the Combat Infantry Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Commendation Ribbon.
