Robert Schultz, 63, of Farmington was called to the Lord after a long battle with cancer, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Mercy Hospice South-de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. He was born Tuesday, August 18, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. Robert was a deacon of First Baptist Church of Farmington and a ceaseless witness for Christ to the end.
Robert was the owner/operator of Schultz Antiques in Saint Mary, Mo. as well as a longtime alderman for the city. He was a master cabinet builder, with the skill for architectural renovations and home remodeling. He had a real appreciation for furniture, antiques, and interesting smalls.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Margaret “Molly” Schultz and Emily Ann Schultz; and brothers-in-law, Mike Lindsey, Eddie Lindsey and Douglas Lindsey.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Susan Paige (Lindsey) Schultz; parents, Robert George Schultz, Sr. and Suzanne Marguerite (Bergeron) Schultz; children Robert Gabriel Schultz (Terri) of Wilmington, NC, Grace Ellen Rivera (Frankie) of Davie, FL, and Nathan Robert Schultz (Hailey Francisco) of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Francisco “Noah” and Logan Rivera; brothers, Karl Schultz (Lori) of St. Mary, MO and James “Jim” Schultz (Lucia); niece and nephew, Julia and Victor of Hilversum, Netherlands; brother and sisters-in-law, David Lindsey, Leslie Whitaker, and Jill Stange; several other special nieces, nephews and in-laws also survive.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Farmington, from 9:30 until the time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Robert Schultz to First Baptist Church-Farmington.
