Robert “Rocky” Tucker
Robert “Rocky” Tucker, 63, of St. Louis, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was born on Thursday, August 2, 1962, in Fredericktown, MO to the late Walter Burton “Burt” and Reva Louis (Fisk) Tucker.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Tucker; sister, Sharon Wolfe; and two brothers-in-law, Sherman Starkey and Michael Counsell.
Rocky is survived by two brothers, Charles (Rosalie) Tucker, Ernest “Peanut” (Edna) Tucker; three sisters, Betty Starkey, Ethel (Benjamin) Tate, and Sue Counsell; and brother-in-law, Jerry Wolfe. Many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends also survive.
Rocky worked as an office manager in a law firm, but he was better known to be “St. Louis’ best kept secret” as an accomplished pianist. He performed in many churches, plays, across the United States. He played the piano on the Robert E. Lee River Boat for many years.
Visitation will be held at Grace Church – of the Heartland in Fredericktown on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to time of service at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Ray Reese officiating. Interment will be in the Marcus Cemetery in Fredericktown, Missouri.
Memorials may be made in Rocky’s honor to the Marquand School District Music Department. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown.
