Roberta Joyce Duree

Roberta Joyce (Harbison) Duree of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away June 1, 2015 at Meadowbrook Residential Care at the age of 92 years. She was born on November 19, 1922 in Bismarck, Missouri the daughter of the late Johncie and Pear James (Good) Morlen. On June 28, 1941 she was united in marriage to Lee Eugene Duree Sr. who preceded her in death on March 29, 2011. To this union four children were born: Sandra Edmonds of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Lee Jr. and wife Kathi of Houston, Texas; Sally and husband Donald Slover of Farmington, Missouri; and Steven Duree of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to Roberta's husband and parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Edward Harbison and William Harbison. Roberta was a 1941 graduate of Ironton High School and was the owner and operator of Duree Grocery Store. She was a member of the Ironton Methodist Church.
