Roberta J. Abel

Roberta "Bobbi" Jean Abel, 55 of Leadwood passed away June 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1955 in Joliet, IL. She was a long term resident of Leadwood, worked at U.S. Tool for thirteen years and also served two terms as a past alderwoman for Leadwood. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Kambic; a daughter in infancy, Samantha; brother, Gary Kambic. Bobbi is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Abel of Leadwood; mother, Carlene (Flynn) Kambic; seven children, Susan (Mrs. Adam) Jaco, Lisa (Mrs. Karl) VanMeter, Sharon (Mrs. Bruce) Tentschert, Robert Abel and wife Ronnie, Stephanie Logan, James Abel and wife Andrea, Jeff Abel; thirteen grandchildren, Brad Hopkins, Olivia Jaco, Lauren and Alyssa VanMeter, Tara and Derek Tentschert, Alex, LaDonna, Donny and Franky Vogelpohl, Kassidy Logan, Elijah Abel and Lucas Abel; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Alex Vogelpohl; sister, Cathy Shields; brother, Kenneth Kambic; special K-9 companion, Hutch. Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 6 PM until 7 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Leadwood. Memorial Service will be Thursday at 7 PM at C. Z.
