Roberta L. Mccreary

Mrs. Roberta L. McCreary passed away Wednesday evening, December 19, 2001, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, in Farmington, at the age of 97 years & 5 days. She was born December 14, 1904, in Farmington, to Noah J. & Marietta 'Griffin' Meyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl McCreary; 2 Sisters: Ruth Patterson; Zell McCarty & Hazel Marie Meyer; 2 Brothers: Lynn & Marvin Meyer. Roberta was: * a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington & former President, for several years of the United Methodist Women; * Roberta was a member of "Quilters" at Memorial United Methodist Church; * Roberta sang in the Church Choir & taught Sunday School at Memorial United Methodist Church; * Charter Member & former "Woman of the Year" of the Farmington Business & Professional Women's Club; * She worked at Rozier Store for 50 years. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : a Sister-In-Law: Eleanor Meyer, of Farmington; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. Visitation starts Saturday, Dec. 22nd @ 10:00 a.m., & funeral Saturday, Dec. 22nd @ 2:00 p.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Dr. David Webster officiating. Interment in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington.
