Rodger Stricklin

Rodger Ray Stricklin, 66, of Farmington passed away December 30, 2016 at St. John’s Mercy  Hospital. He was born March 19, 1950 to the late Lonnie Lee and Bertha Lorella (Welch) Stricklin.  He was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Stricklin and a brother, Richard Stricklin.

Rodger was a retiree from the Electro Painting and Refurbishing Co.

Rodger is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Sue Stricklin; son, Rodger Lee (Kathy) Stricklin, daughter, Renee Homan; grandchildren, Rachel and Briana Stricklin, and Dara and Kaly Homan; sister, Angie (Don) Politte; a very special niece, his chemo buddy and partner in crime Cindy Houston; his aunt, Pat Stamm; and several sisters in law, brothers in law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 pm until time of the funeral service at 7 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Rev. Jim Frago officiating the service.  Interment will be Wednesday at the Big River Cemetery in Irondale. You may join the procession 11 am Wednesday at Boyer Funeral Home. The family has requested memorials be directed to Relay For Life or the Ronald McDonald House.
