Ronald Earl Grindstaff Sr.

Ronald Earl Grindstaff Sr., age 68 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Shady Oaks Care Center in Thayer, Missouri. He was born on May 8, 1956, in Fredericktown to David and Dolores JoAnn (Garner) Grindstaff.

He is survived by his children – Christy Cofer, Ronald Grindstaff Jr., and Elizabeth Grindstaff; sister – Loretta JoAnn Lewis, brother – William Grindstaff; half-brother and sisters – Mark Vaughn, Linda Wojtczuk, Tina Palmer and Deborah Voss; grandchildren – Fallon M. Cofer, Brooklyn Grindstaff, Hunter Grindstaff and Jaya Rae Grindstaff; great grandchildren – Olivia Blake Davis and Tatum Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by step-brother – Joe Helm, half-brother – Rick Vaughn and step-mother – Iva Grindstaff.

Ronald was a United States Marine Vietnam Veteran; he was a member of the Farmington, Missouri VFW, Farmington AMVETS, and Eagles in Farmington and Bonne Terre, Missouri; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., also on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor David McCutcheon officiating.

Interment will be at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown with full military honors.
