Ruby French

Ruby Gladys French, 88, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away July 27, 2022 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1933. Ruby owned and operated French’s Bargain Center. She enjoyed collecting antiques, especially heirloom glass.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Thomas French; one son, baby Kenneth Paul French; one daughter, Barbara Nichols and several brothers and sisters.

Ruby is survived by four children, Rev. Jim French, Betty (Danny) Goins, Dorothy Lowery, Marilyn (Ralph) Green; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Memorials may be made to masses or the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
