Ruby Ethel Hughes

Ruby Ethel Hughes of Ironton, Missouri passed away December 31, 2016 in Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of 87 years. She was born June 8, 1929 in Ironton, Missouri the daughter of Robert Emmett and Rose Marie (Linson) Marler. On March 24, 1947 she was united in marriage to John James "Bud" Hughes who preceded her in death on November 9, 1998. To this union three children were born; Jerry Hughes and wife Lucille of Pilot Knob, Missouri, James Hughes and wife Alice of Ironton, Missouri and Patricia Jaycox who preceded her in death. Ruby is also survived by her brother, Matthew Marler of Ironton, Missouri, her sister, Joanne Casteel of Bismarck, Missouri, son-in-law, Jerry Jaycox of High Ridge, Missouri, her special friend, Carter Miller of Arcadia, Missouri, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
