Mrs. Ruby Irene Bloom passed away December 8, 2004, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 78 years, 1 month & 11 days. Ruby was born October 27, 1926, at Ste. Genevieve County, MO., to the late James Cheslie Head & Edith 'Martin' Head. Also preceding in death were: 1 Sister, Ethel Head, in-childhood; 2 Brothers: Larry Head, in-infancy & Delmar Head.

Ruby was a member of the Coffman Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: Her husband, Benton D. Bloom, of Farmington; 1 Daughter, Cathy (Mrs. Terry) Hawn, of Farmington; 3 Sons: Doug (& Resa) Bloom, of Farmington; Ben (& Pam) Bloom, of Springfield; Jim (& Carolyn) Bloom, of Farmington; 4 Sisters: Dorothy Boyd, of Farmington; Alma Winch, of Farmington; June (Mrs. Nelson) Stone, of Jackson, MO; & Jean (Mrs. Arthur "Red") Jenkerson, of Farmington. Also surviving are 16 Grandchildren & 13 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation Friday,5-9 pm. Visitation resumes Saturday, 9 am & funeral Saturday, 11 am, Dec. 11, 2004, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Irvin Brooks officiating. Interment following at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: The American Cancer Society.
