Mrs. Ruby Loker passed away December 1, 2004, at the Southbrook Skilled Care Nursing Home, Farmington, at the age of 82 years & 21 days. Ruby was born on Nov. 10, 1922, in Madison County, MO., to Robert T. Tharp & Eunice 'Hale' Tharp. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Paul P. Loker (Jan. 6, 2000); & 2 Brothers: Chester & Edmond Anton 'Tony' Tharp.
Ruby was: * a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington; * a member o fthe St. Paul's Lutheran Ladie's Aide & * a member of the Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, Ladie's Auxillary.
Survivors Include: 1 SISTER - Lola 'Mrs. Freddie' Vierse, of Deer Park, Washington; 1 BROTHER: John (& Geraldine) Tharp, of Perryville, MO; 1 SISTER-IN-LAW: Helen Wakefield, of Park Hills, MO; A NEPHEW: Cledith Wakefield, of Leadington, MO. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation Thursday, 6:30 - 9 pm & funeral Friday, 11 am - Dec. 3, 2004, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington, with Pastor James King officiating. Interment follows at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve County. Memorials may be made to: * The Alzheimer's Association &/or * The American Heart Association.
