Russel Jay Fears, age 44 of Greenville, Missouri (formerly of Ellington, Missouri) passed away at his home on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born on April 16, 1973 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, a son of Stanley David and Helen Marie (Snider) Fears. On March 28, 2015 in Greenville he was united in marriage to Rose Ann Holbert, she survives at the home.
Other survivors include: one son - Raymond Briener of Kahab, Utah; stepson - Tanner Rickman of Greenville; mother - Helen Fears of Ellington; three brothers - Gregory (Teresa) Fears of Springfield, Missouri; Randy Fears of Pineville, Missouri and Rodney Fears of Ellington. His father Stanley Fears precedes him in death.
Russel was a United States Army Veteran; he was owner/operator of Fears Transport LLC in Greenville; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, trapping and running his trucking company.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 22. 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Fears officiating. Internment will be at the Hampton Cemetery on H highway near Ellington with full military honors under the direction of the Missouri National Guard Honors Team.
