James Russell King passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Festus, MO., at the age of 92 years, 6 months & 26 days. Russell was born March 26, 1916, in Bonne Terre, MO., & was the son of James Clarence King & Sallie Catherine 'Goff' King. Also preceding-in-death were: his wife, Rosetta Elizabeth 'Beck' King (2002); 1 Sister, Catherine Weiss & 1 Grandson, Michael T. Sales.

Russell was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington & a member of the Employers & Operating Engineers, Local #520.

Survivors Include: 8 daughters - Sherry 'Mrs. Thomas' Sales, of Farmington; Rose Marie 'Mrs. Lindell' Kennon, of Farmington; Carol Jane King, of Farmington; Helen 'Mrs. Byron' Richardson, of French Village; Dolores Lewellen, of Farmington; Barbara 'Mrs. Will' Shelton, of Farmington; Cathy 'Mrs. Alan' Thompson, of Chipley, FL; Elaine 'Mrs. David' Easter, of Park Hills. 2 Sons: Jim King, of Farmington; John (& Susan) King, of Ashland, MO. 4 Sisters: Ruth Weiss, of Doe Run; Veronica Weiss, of Millstadt, IL; Dorothy Wood, of Farmington; Norma 'Mrs. Bob' Oder, of Farmington. 2 Brothers: Quentin (& Doris) King, of Farmington; Robert (& Alma) King, of Loveland, CO. 19 Grandchildren; 21 Great-Grandchildren; numerous Relatives & Friends.

Visitation : Sunday, 5-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited Sunday evening @ 7:00 p.m. Visitation resumes Monday, 6:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Funeral Mass : Monday, 10:00 a.m., Oct. 27, 2008

at : St. Joseph Catholic Church, Farmington, with Fr. James Dyer officiating.

Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
