Ruth Elizabeth Martin

Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth 'Boyd' Martin passed away late Saturday evening, May 1, 2010, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center, in Farmington, at the age of 96 years, 8 months & 8 days. Ruth was born in Coffman, Missouri, on August 23, 1913, and was the daughter of Edward E. Boyd and Zita 'Heberlie' Boyd. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Thomas Emmett Martin (1983); a daughter, Viola Genevieve 'Martin' Brooks; 2 Sisters: Hazel Pratt and Verna Mae Boyd & 4 Brothers: Arville Boyd; Norman Boyd; Blair Boyd & Raymond Boyd.

Ruth was a former Cook at the Coffman Grade School.

Survivors Include: 3 Sons - John Edward (& Mary) Martin, of Ste. Genevieve; Thomas E. Martin, of Farmington & Robert E. Martin, of Hazelwood, MO. Also surviving are 13 Grandchildren; numerous Great-Grandchildren; Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Wednesday - 11:00 a.m., May 5, 2010,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment follows at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Coffman.
